- Blue Nevus Hidden within the Nevus of Ota
- “Reporting on a recent medical case, a 3-year-old boy with a bluish patch on his face underwent laser treatment, but the area became darker. Histopathology revealed pigment-laden dendritic cells, and immunohistochemistry confirmed the presence of nevus of Ota concurrent with common blue nevus. This discovery highlights the importance of considering coexisting conditions in cases of nevus of Ota that do not respond well to laser treatment.”
