Description of data collection | The national cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted by the former National Health and Family Planning Commission. The sampling was drawn based on the 2016 China Migrant Population Information System, and a multistage stratified probability proportional-to-size (PPS) cluster sampling strategy was adopted to select participants. There were 13,998 internal migrants and 14,000 registered residents from 8 cities/prefecture/districts participated in the survey. Questionnaire was completed face-to-face by well-trained interviewers. |
