To support authors with their research being widely disseminated and making maximum influence, Chin Med Sci J is transitioning from subscription to open access (OA) publication. Start from March 2022, authors who submit manuscript to Chin Med Sci J will publish on the journal under the Creative Commons Attribution license CC BY-NC, which means the content of OA article can be publicly read, downloaded, copied, distributed, translated, adapted immediately after publication without permission from the journal. Authors retain the copyright of their article, grant an exclusive license to the editorial office of Chin Med Sci J as the original publisher, and grant any third part the right to use the article freely for non-commercial purpose, provided the authors of the article and the journal are given credits. Appropriate citation to the article is required and a link to the article on the journal’s website is suggested. The journal does not provide remuneration to the authors.

Corresponding author sign the Open Access Publication License Agreement on behalf of all authors. The scanned electronic copy of signed agreement should be upload to the system at submission. Once the manuscript has been accepted, the article processing charge (APC) of 5000 RMB or 850 $ is payable to the sponsor of the journal. In particular situation, we grant a waiver or discount on case-by-case basis for authors.
