About the Journal

Chin Med Sci J [ISSN 1001-9294] is a peer-reviewed comprehensive medical journal that is sponsored by Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College. Chin Med Sci J dedicates to publish and disseminate high-quality scientific researches in broad fields of medicine with special interests in interdisciplinary researches and application of advanced technologies in medicine.

The journal has been indexed and abstracted by major international databases, including MEDLINE/PubMed, EMBASE, Sciencedirect, Biological Abstracts/BIOSIS Previews, Chemical Abstracts (CA), Реферативныйж урнал (РЖ, Russia), etc. It is also the source journal of Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), the Chinese Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database (CSTPCD). It is indexed in most domestic scientific database in China, e.g., SinoMed, Wanfang Data, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and CQWIP. Currently, Chin Med Sci J publishes quarterly.
